Tips on the use of the Plate Press • The press works at maximum efficiency when the handle is approx. parallel with the base. Make sure the press is on a stable firm surface • Place the plate to be contoured in between the anvils • Adjust the gap between the anvils using the screw until the handle is parallel with the base • Pressure on the handle will bend the plate • Readjust the press using the screw to bring the handle parallel once again • Contouring the plate should be accomplished using several small adjustments rather than one big one Please check the press selected will fit your autoclave before purchase.
