Touch control types

There are 8 diferent controls that you can add to a Touch interface:

1. Label : Allows you to enter custom text to help organise your UI. 2. Image : Upload your custom images to your UI. Daslight 5 also comes with a number of default/preset icons built in. 3. Button : Adds a button to your UI. Can be used in toggle (default) or fash mode. 4. Fader : Adds a fader to your UI. 5. Dial : Adds a dial to your UI. 6. Incremental Wheel : Adds an incremental wheel to your UI. This control resembles the functionality of an infnite rotary dial, which can turn infnitely in either direction. The value will increase in increments, rather than absolute values (as with a dial or fader). 7. Colour Wheel : Adds a colour wheel to your UI. This can be used to control the colour of the relevant fxtures. 8. XYGrid : Adds an XY grid to your UI. This can be used to control the Pan and Tilt of a selected fxture.

6.2. Setting up a Touch interface Adding controls to the Touch screen

Adding controls to the Touch screen in Daslight 5 is easy. You will frst need to enable ‘Edit’ mode in order to make changes, then you can simply drag and drop a control from the ‘Add controls’ tab onto the grid to the left of the screen. Alternatively, you can right click on an empty space in the grid and select Insert, then choose the desired control type. You will not be able to add a control to
